Whittaker Arms CCW provides an extensive range of training programs designed to cater to the increasing number of New Jersey firearms owners seeking the essential knowledge required to being responsible firearm owners. Whittaker Arms training programs run the gamut from Basic Handgun Safety, CCW Training and Qualifications, Intermediate & Advanced CCW Tactical Training for everyday carry to RPO H.R. 218 Qualifications for Retired Law Enforcement Officers.
Whittaker Arms Instruction and Certifications are provided by Retired NJ State Police Firearms Instructors.
NJ CCW Training Course with CCARE Qualifications for the following:

Whittaker Arms offers RPO H.R. 218 Retired Law Enforcement Course & Qualifications for retired law-enforcement personnel looking to retain their H.R. 218 status.
Our Intermediate Tactical CCW course is for Permit to Carry holders that wish to further their knowledge and skillset in concealed carry techniques. Participants will gain knowledge and confidence that will assist them with everyday concealed carry. Topics covered will be shooting while moving, combat and tactical reloading as well as proper holster draw, presentation, re-holstering and shooting with an elevated heart rate.
The Tactical Concealed Carry II course is for shooters who are looking to further their skills and confidence in their everyday concealed situations. This course will build on the fundamentals established in Intermediate Tactical Concealed Carry I. Topics covered in this course will include holster drawing and re-holstering from concealment, advanced shooting and moving, reloading and malfunctions drills, support hand shooting and of course elevated heart rate drills.
Unlock the full potential of your shooting skills with our comprehensive Red Dot Pistol course. This class is perfect for both beginners and those transitioning from traditional iron sights to red dot sights. Our expert instructors will guide you through essential topics, ensuring you gain confidence and precision in your shooting.
Our Basic Handgun Safety course is a “1-on-1” or “private group” oriented course created for the new shooter who has never shot a firearm before, needs a refresher, or questions if they understand the basics of shooting. There will be at least 50 rounds of fire or more as necessary, until you feel comfortable handling and firing your firearm.
